With My XLH, the new immersive and gamified 3D platform from AP-HP, XLH patients and their families now have a fun and collaborative tool to learn everything about their illness, their healthcare journey and associated treatments.
Around 1,300 people in France are affected by the rare disease XLH, particularly children. To save them the hassle of traveling to the few specialised centers, AP-HP would like to facilitate access to information and advice by providing appropriate educational content that is easy to understand and quick to consult.
- Implementation of a VIRGO eLearning platform with personalized rooms according to medical specialties.
- Writing and popularisation of knowledge.
- Creation of dozens of videos (3D animation, motion design, etc.), interactive presentations and mini-games, in adult and children’s versions.
With My XLH, patients and their families learn everything they need to know about the disease, along with tips for improving their daily lives. With follow-up, medical teams improve their support because they have more time to provide specific, personalised advice.
